In the video, 1st grinding : 15.0g in, 15.0g out ; 2nd grinding : 14.9g in, 14.8g out ; 3rd grinding : 15.0g in, 14.8g out.
The hopper funnel in the video is not included in the doserless kits.

◆ There are four versions of Mazzer grinder:
1. Manual version
2. Timer version
3. Automatic version
4. Electronic version
If your Mazzer Super Jolly is a Manual or Timer version, the doserlees kits can be installed without any modify.
If your Mazzer Super Jolly is an Electronic or Automatic version, it need to make a jumper wire attached to the junction strip on the electronic base to bypass the electronic control panel or micro switch.

◆ Here are some methods of making jumpers for reference, but because the wiring version of each area may be different, you may not be able to make jumpers to bypass safety sensor switches or electronic controllers according to the following instructions. If you do not have proper electrical safety knowledge, please do not try to modify it.
◆ If your Super Jolly is an Automatic version, you need to remove the micro switch of the doser very carefully.
A.The doser have two grey wires attached to the junction strip on the base as indicated A. The switch is normally closed so you need to make a jumper wire to replace the switch as shown:
B.The doser have another two black wires attached to the junction strip on the base. The switch is normally opened so you just remove the wire on the switch as indicated B.

The results are as follows:
If the jumper is completed successfully, turn on the power then the motor will work. Turn off the power then the motor will stop.
◆ If your Super Jolly is an Electronic version, you need to remove the electronic control panel very carefully.
◆ The electronic control panel have green, black, blue, brown four wires attached to the junction strip on the base. You need to make a jumper wire to cross the green and brown wires, and remove the 4 wires as shown.
◆ Please note that if the connect position of the jumper is wrong, it will cause electrical shorts, burn the fuse, and even more serious damage. If you do not have proper electrical safety knowledge, please do not try to modify it.
If the jumper is completed successfully, turn on the power then the grinder will work. Turn off the power then the grinder will stop.
◆ When opening the base, before making the jumper, you can hear a clicking sound when turning off the motor, that is the sound of the motor centrifugal switch. Therefore, after making the jumper, a clicking sound will still be heard when the motor is turned off. This is normal.

Daniel’s customer service is second to none, answering several questions I had very promptly (despite the time difference!). I ordered the kit and it was delivered in under a week, which was amazing! The kit itself comes brilliantly packaged with everything nicely labelled and in soft bags, along with easy to follow instructions. The components themselves are very well made and fit easily and perfectly. In practice the mod does exactly what you see in the videos, put 18gr in and at worst I’ve got 17.9gr out….exactly what I was hoping for! I also purchased the hopper cap which fits perfectly and allows you to blow air down and through the burr set. There was some slight clumping with one dark roast that I used but absolutely nothing that concerned me and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a practically zero retention set-up!

Purchased the Mod for Masser Super Jolly from Daniel and arrived in Canada in less than a week. In terms of delivery its second to none. I have been looking for a product that can Modify my Super Jolly for a while but none has really interested me in terms of functionality and aesthetic. However, Daniel’s Mod has fulfilled both of my requirement. This particular mod is very well made and well thought of and not to mention the quality of the stainless steel. It was very beautifully polished and finished with not a single scratch. Regarding Zero retention, its exactly what is shown on Daniel’s video. Daniel’s Super Jolly mod is great. It is easy to install in a few minutes. Fit and finish are high quality. Coupled with the dozer cap and blower you can get as close as possible to 20 grams in and 20 grams out. The blower definitely helps clearing out the last remaining grounds.
